Tomorrow, back Shanghai
This January I left Shanghai in order to spend Chinese New Year in Hong Kong with An. Approximately I have been away from Shanghai for 5 months.
I have to be back after such a long time: 11 is Duanwu festival and father wants me to be at home; 19th is Sister's wedding date and 26th is nuonuo's wedding date. Moreover, I am both weddings' bridesmaid, which means no absence is allowed. ;-)
I am expecting to see a big change in Shanghai, as usual. When I was living in Shanghai, a week of business trip away, often let me find new-demolished buildings or new-built things. In this sort of things, Shanghai is amazing. Two days ago, surprisingly I found the demolition of Lujiazui food court buildings through an American guy's blog. He was in Shanghai recently. Can't image how things have been changed!!!
Would like to stay a little bit longer with parents, but the decoration here just started. And tomorrow, if nothing goes wrong, we will have several parts of the wall demolished as well. Why today, I am so fond of demolition??? The only risk is we want to open a door in one of the external wall and I hope nobody and no administrator of villa Pinada will notice it. I will cross my fingers for tomorrow. So after nuonuo's wedding in Qingdao, I will stay another one or two days in Shanghai and I will be back HK again.
Basically, my plan is 12 days in Shanghai, 3 days in beijing, and 2 days in Qingdao and back here again. Have to admit I am missing Shanghai a little bit, missing my friends there. Just hope I could stay a little bit longer, which I know it will be difficult at this period.
Maybe I won't get the time to write another article during these days. Bye for now...

Zhongyi xiaozhu
Today I browsed the website of Villa Pinada. And there is a private discussion forum only opens for owners. What I have to do is to register a name and become a member of it.
It took me a while to think a nice name and then I decided to choose “中意小筑”-zhongyi xiaozhu as the name for our home in HK.
zhongyi: in Chinese it means like/fond of/ love; xiaozhu: means little buildings/home. So zhongyi xiaozhu should be loving little home or lovely little home.
But there is another meaning for zongyi. Zhong means China and Yi means Italy. Exactly refer to me and An.
Hehe, liked this name for our home... A big smile...
